PP – Polipropilen (Homopolimer, Kopolimer, Random)

Excellent Transparency and High Heat Resistance in Packaging

Polypropylene (PP), the most widely used thermoplastic after polyethylene, is known for its high chemical resistance, rigid structure, and superior transparency, particularly in film applications. It provides the glass-like transparency that makes the product shine on the shelf in the production of “gelatin bags” (OPP and CPP films), which are indispensable in the textile industry. It also provides high strength in the production of “Raffia” (sacks). As HOPAN A.Ş., we supply original PP at every MFI value (fluidity), from injection to film extrusion.

Key Features:

  • Crystal Clarity: The raw material structure that displays your products most clearly in the window.

  • High Heat Resistance: Suitable for food packaging requiring hot filling.

  • Hardness and Rigidity: A surface that is harder and more scratch-resistant than PE.

  • Chemical Resistance: Strong protection against oils and solvents.

Applications:

  • Textile and shirt packaging (Gelatin bags)

  • Legume and pasta packaging (BOPP/CPP Films)

  • Woven sacks (Big Bag, Flour sack)

  • Hard plastic containers and kitchenware
